The Interview
This shows the components of a session designed to evaluate, in Learner/Reflective mode, a management development course which happened some time ago. Elements are named by the user in response to the following questions:

This is an example of a session where, if it is given to a large number of people, the collected elements will themselves be of interest to the course designers.
Four qualifiers were used, to cover what was learned at the time and can still be recalled, and what application of the learning the user can identify.

Then the complete session set-up screen, from which the work begins, looks like this:

and after the elements have been derived:

and the add construct dialog box appears thus:

The session then proceeds on familiar lines, giving a very rich database which the designers of the training course can interrogate from a variety of perspectives – from the micro-level (e.g. how is ‘The Psychobabble Lecture’) viewed, at the time and in retrospect, through to the macro level of asking the question ‘Which lessons have been remembered as helpful in later life?’
