[Repertory Grid with Enquire Within]

Installing Enquire Within

Important Note: Before you download Enquire Within at the link below please print this page using File|Print... in your browser menu above. That will ensure you have full information should there be problems.

Welcome to Enquire Within

This download of Enquire Within II is a full facility demonstration except that it is limited to the development of a maximum of 10 constructs and you cannot print out your constructs. You are welcome to copy this evaluation version of Enquire Within II and supply it to others provided you supply the unaltered and intact Enquire Within II.msi file.

Please Note: Because some of the sample sessions supplied have already been developed to beyond 10 constructs you will not be able to develop them further. Menu options which would enable you to do that have been greyed out. Should you purchase Enquire Within that limitation will be discontinued.

Also, on starting Enquire Within, you will get an Error Code 101 message. That merely indicates that this is a non-activated version of Enquire Within. You will be able to continue to use Enquire Within within the limitations outlined above.

The Enquire Within application is contained in the self extracting file Enquire Within II.msi, with all of the files and prepared sessions required for this evaluation. These will be installed in a new directory on the hard disk you choose.

System Requirements

As the Enquire Within application is totally new and unlike anything you have encountered before you will need to read the help tutorials and work through some of the examples.

Installation

The files are supplied in a self extracting compressed file called Enquire Within II.msi. It will be downloaded to a location on your hard disk nominated by you when you download. Just click on the file in File Manager or Explorer and it will install itself.

SOME FURTHER NOTES:

  1. If you are an existing user of Repertory Grid and familiar with the basic concepts, you may prefer to go ‘once over lightly’ with the early parts of the tutorial and go straight to the chapter on setting up your own sessions. If however you are unfamiliar with the dendritic analysis process and the resulting differentiation of the Grid it would be useful to familiarise yourself using the early examples.
  2. Some people have reported difficulty in accessing construct analysis. This is a very important part of Enquire Within and it is where the full power of the process becomes evident. There are a number of goodies here which are not readily apparent so it is important that you read the documentation if you want full access to the power of Enquire Within. The dendritic analysis graph and subsequent processes are available from menu item View|Analysis View.
  3. Rarely, on installation of Enquire Within, a computer may display an error message relating to "AUTOEXEC.NT". That is because that file is missing or damaged on your system. It is required by InstallShield while it is attempting to install Enquire Within. Please let us know if you encounter this problem and we will provide a fix.
  4. If you have difficulty please contact us by Email.
