The Repertory Grid Interview: Tutorials

 

We have so far developed three Enquire Within tutorials applying repertory grid in areas that our visitors have indicated an interest.

The tutorials (eDemos - similar to an eBook but active) have been developed using DemoShield© and are complete within themselves. They are supplied in executable file format (exe) and in compressed (zip) file format. Some fire walls prevent downloading of executable files. If you encounter that problem, or if you prefer it, you might like to try the zip file format.

Tutorials

Title	Description
Family Relationships (a counselling intervention)	Provides a basic introduction to grid and setting up the Enquire Within software, applying it to a person's self (or assisted) exploration of relationships with family members. It runs through the steps needed to set up an interview and shows how to derive information and apply that to provide personal insights related to one's own behaviour and feelings as well as gaining an understanding of other family members. This can be a particularly insightful counselling intervention.
Holiday Destinations (Helping to make a decision)	Assumes that the user knows how to set up an interview session. It provides a basic introduction to grid and, starting with an Enquire Within session set up with the basic resources including elements (holiday destinations) and some constructs to help make a decision. It shows how rating is accomplished and provides some comment on the resulting dendritic analysis. It then proceeds with differentiation to show how that challenges the user to provide additional information and the consequent effect on the analysis.
Competencies (organizational development)	Shows how Repertory Grid fits within the process of developing management competencies. You will see how to use Enquire Within as a management competencies assessment tool to capture a representation of the organization's culture - the organization's construct system. Then you will see an overview on how to analyse that data and, from that, develop a set of competencies that match the organization's strategic direction.
